Tonight the Pasadena Republican Club held what is planned to be the first of several Forum programs in 2005 at the University Club, Pasadena. The program is described at our web site.

Gary Mendoza, seeking the GOP Nomination for California Insurance Commissioner, spoke briefly about his plans and took a few questions from the audience.
Sally C. Pipes spoke at length about the problems she perceives with the Canadian single-payer health care system, and why it would be a disaster for both the U.S. and Canada for a similar system to be adopted here.
